ICG Recruitment 2024: Indian Coast Guard has invited online applications from Indian males possessing educational qualifications and age as prescribed below, for recruitment to the Post of Navik (General Duty) and Yantrik in the Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union.

Vacancy Details: The Indian Coast Guard is recruiting Navik (General Duty) & Yantriks, details are below:

1) Navik (General Duty) – 260 Posts
– Qualification: 12th pass with Maths and Physics.
2) Yantrik – 60 Posts
Qualification: Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering

Age: 18 Years- 22 years. Candidates should be born between 01 Mar 2003 to 28 Feb 2007 (both dates inclusive) applying for the post of Navik (GD) and Yantrik. The Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy) candidates is applicable only if, posts are reserved for them.

Selection Process: The selection process for the CGEPT examination consists of three stages:
Stage I: Computer Based Examination
Document verification: Candidates’ identity will be checked against the details filled in the online application. Required documents include valid original Identity proof, colored printout of E-admit card, passport-sized colored photographs, and, for SC/ST applicants, original category certificate and photocopies of self-attested SC/ST certificate, original train/bus ticket, cancelled cheque leaf for NEFT payment, and travel form.
Note: Any discrepancies in the details provided in the online application and E-admit card with the submitted identity proof may lead to the cancellation of candidature.
Stage II: Physical and Assessment/Adaptability Tests: Detailed document verification will be conducted as per rules mentioned in succeeding paragraphs.
Stage III: Medical Examination: Detailed medical examination will be conducted for qualified candidates from Stage II.
