DVC Recruitment 2024: Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) has invited Online applications from eligible candidates to join the DVC as Technical Experts (Geo Informatics and Environment Management) and Associate Expert (GIS) under No. PLR/Experts/2024/07/01. Vacancy Details: DVC (Damodar Valley Corporation) is hiring following positions:
1) Technical Expert (Geo Informatics): 01 Post
– Qualification: BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/IT/Electronics or Post Graduate Qualification in IT/Computer Science with minimum six years’ experience OR Master’s degree in Geo-Informatics with minimum four years’ experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Geo-Informatics with minimum six years’ experience.
2) Technical Experts (Environment Management): 01 Post
– Qualification: Master’s Degree in Environment or related areas OR Bachelor degree in Civil/Mechanical /Chemical/Environment Engineering.
3) Associate Expert (GIS): 02 Posts
– Qualification: Master’s degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, Geoinformatics or a related field.

Age Limit: The Upper Age limit as on closing date of online application is 45 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD/Ex-SM candidates will be as per GOI guidelines.
Pay Scale:
Technical Expert (Geo Informatics): Rs.1,00,000/-
Technical Expert (Environment Management): Rs. 1,00,000/-
Associate Expert (GIS): Rs. 56,100/-

Selection Process:
The Selection will be done Interview. The shortlisted candidates shall be intimated later through notice in the DVC website www.dvc.gov.in for the date and venue of the Interview.
Candidates are also required to bring print out of the Online Application Form enclosing all supporting documents in ORIGINAL along with one set of self-attested photocopies of supporting documents at the time of Interview for verification
