Fake Job Notification of Indian Railways RPF Recruitment for 4660 Posts, clarifies PIB

The central government has responded to a fake job notification circulating all over for the recruitment of 4,660 jobs in the railway department.

Press Information Beauro has clarified that the job advertisement is fake. The PIB has condemned the widespread campaign about job notification. Earlier today a job announcement spread in various sites and social media stating the Railway Department under RPC had invited applications for 4660 vacancies. Of which 452 were for SI posts and the remaining vacancies 4208 were for constable posts.

The fake advertisement also stated that online applications should be accepted from April 15 to May 14 for the posts of SCI and Constable in the Railway Protection Force (RPF), Railway Protection Special Force.

PIB clarified that no such notice has been issued by the Ministry of Railways. People are advised to never share personal/financial information. No one should believe this fake advertisement which includes the number of 452 SCI, 4,208 constable posts in RPF, salary, age limit, educational qualifications, recruitment process, application fee etc.
