Eligibility Criteria for NIH Recruitment 2024
The educational qualifications, experience, and age limit required for National Institute of Hydrology (NIH) recruitment are given below.
Educational Qualification
- Senior Research Assistant: A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/ Computer Engineering or a Post Graduate Degree in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Hydrology, Computer Applications, or Earth Sciences (with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field).
- Technician Grade III: High School with Science and 5 years of relevant experience, or a National Trade Certificate with 3 years of experience, or a National Apprenticeship Certificate with 2 years of experience in trades like Electrician, Computer Operator, or Air Conditioning.
- Lower Division Clerk: 12th Class pass with typing speeds of 35 w.p.m in English or 30 w.p.m in Hindi on a computer.
- Staff Car Driver: 8th Class pass with a valid driving license, knowledge of motor mechanics, at least 3 years of driving experience, and working knowledge of English or Hindi.
Age Limit
- Senior Research Assistant: Up to 30 years.
- Technician Grade III: Between 18 and 27 years.
- Lower Division Clerk: Between 18 and 27 years.
- Staff Car Driver: Not exceeding 25 years (relaxable up to 40 years for government servants)
