SSC GD Constable Exam Pattern
SSC GD Constable exam will be conducted in three different phases for recruiting candidates. The syllabus and the exam pattern of SSC GD Constable consist of three phases which are:
- SSC GD Exam
- PET (Physical Efficiency Test) & PST
- Medical Examination & Document Verification
Note:
- The Written Exam is conducted online and is an MCQ Paper.
- Time Duration: 1 Hour
- 0.50 marks negative marking.
- The exam consists of 4 sections with 80 questions in total.

SC GD Selection Process
The Selection Process for SSC GD Constable consists of 4 stages & is given below for reference
- Online Computer-Based Test
- Physical Standard Test
- Physical Efficiency Test
- Medical Test
SSC GD Constable PET
The candidates who score more than the cut-off marks for the SSC GD Online exam will be eligible to appear in the Physical Efficiency Test for which the standards have been set by SSC.

Note:
1. Pregnancy at the time of PET will be considered a disqualification and pregnant female candidates shall be rejected at this stage.
2. The Ex-servicemen who will be shortlisted will have to appear in PET/PST stage for recording measurements of height, chest and weight only. PET will not be held for these Ex-servicemen candidates.
SSC GD Constable PST
The PET will be followed by the Physical Standard Test which will shortlist the candidates based on physical parameters including height, chest size, and vision. The candidates qualifying at this stage will be called for medical examination. The details have been discussed below:

SSC GD Constable: Medical Test
After qualifying for the physical standard and efficiency test (PET/PST) candidates will be called for the Medical examination. The medical standard is given in the table below.
Note: If you fail the medical exam you will be given one more chance to get yourself medically fit.
